Post surgery chin mask and some tips

wear the chin mask everyday!

 

If you had a facial contouring surgery

such as zygoma reduction, chin correction, or square jaw line reduction

you need to wear the chin mask for 1 month after the operation

Please look at the picture below.

 

 

This chin mask supports your chin, zygoma, and the jaw

making sure that the bone is on the right place

rhather than moving somewhere else.

 

The wide part goes to the head and the narrow part goes to the chin.

It needs to cover your front chin like the picture described

You should also wear it for 1hour and take it off for 1 hour repeatedly.

 

Important that you should wear the chin mask when you eat foods

or when you sleep as it disturb the blood circulation.

 

After the surgery also note that you should massage your head gently

promoting the blood circulates very well on your head

as the bandage that you are going to wear post op

can be very tight also disturbing the blood circulation.
