Korean food you must try♥♥


What is your favorite Korean Food?


Let me introduce KOREAN BARBECUE today. :) 



For Korean Barbecue, we have various kind of meat such as Samgyupsal(pork belly), hangjungsal(pork neck), galbisal(beef rib-eye), duejigalbi and sogalbi (marinated pork and beef), and so on.
Among all the kinds of meat, Samgyupsal is the most popular one for Koreans since it was cheaper meat part compared to other meats. Now, it costs similar with other parts though. 

Koreans usually grill Samgyupsal with vegetable and Kimchi as you can see in the picture. the grilled kimchi is very good match with it.  




I guess you have an idea what it is if you like Korean culture. Yes, it is "Ssam" which is wrapped in leaves of lettuce. You know Sagyulsal is actually oily food so the vegetable wrap would help your digestion. (i don't know if it is true. :P) But anyways, it is still tasty with vegetable wrap.






This is Galbisal (rib-eye). Unlike Samgyupsal, it is better to eat without vegetable wrap to taste beef itself. 






This is spicy green onion salad which is good for beef and pork too. After you finish all your meat, you can make kimchi fried rice or soybean paste stew with remained salad.






This is "Dwenjangjjigae" (soybean paste stew) the most common home-made food in Korea. 





And the last but not least, we cannot skip mentioning "Soju" for Korean BBQ!
Dwenjangjjigae and Soju always should be together with barbecue.
